At the AND Lab, our goal is to better understand how brain development and early environments and experiences shape children’s attention and mathematical skills. We use a combination of behavioral and neuroimaging methods to explore how developing brains support attention and math learning in kids. Our lab is located in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Louisville’s Belknap campus.

We are committed to conducting community-engaged research that ensures our work has a positive impact on the Louisville community and beyond. We strive to build sustainable partnerships with local organizations that serve the community, with a focus on understanding the strengths and challenges faced by community members.
